Griggs International Academy

We would like to inform all interested people that as of 1 April 2017, Axis International School is officially affiliated to Griggs International Academy. The ownership of the school is still with Y.K. Mahr Corporation and has not changed.

For our students, this will mean much quicker grading as their test are no longer sent to America. All student records, and official grade reports will still be issued by Griggs International Academy, USA. We are also looking forward to adding exciting new courses for the students to enjoy.

The early bookings are now open  the Summer 2018 trip. To avoid disapointment, it is important to book earlier. Below is the information for our trip.

For anyone going, it is critical to have a good understanding of English otherwise the child may get hurt, and others around them as well, if they do not follow the safety instructions at the various activities.

While at Camp Kulaqua, there will be NO Japanese language support.  If your child would like to join us, knowing this,  please contact us as soon as possible.

This year we will be limiting the number of participants to 21 students aged 6 - 17.

Cancellation Policy:

Airfare - no refund.

Camp Kulaqua - $50 deducted from the refund.

Hotels - no refund.

Other events - depending on the time of cancelation we may be able to get some money back.

We make reservations early to lock in early booking fees and group discounts. A cancelation may result in the whole group losing the groups discount depending on the event. To avoid this, we cannot cancel some events after they have been booked.

The price includes: Air ticket, accommodation, all meals, special T-shirt, all transportation, all park/event tickets, and even  ice-cream and some snacks.

The price does not include: souvenirs. Children older than 12 may bring and spend their own money as they wish on souvenirs and snacks. Children younger than 12 will have their money taken care of by a teacher, or will pay for souvenirs when they return.

We have 2 Tours:

Tour 1:    2 Weeks        Non-Axis students: JPY 456,000

1 week in Orlando and 1 week at camp

Tour 2     3 Weeks    Non-Axis students:  JPY 562,000

Once again, thank you for your offer and kindness. It has given us assurance that we are not entrusting our children to teachers who will only educate them academically but to a wonderful people who will educate and challenge them as a whole person. (mentally, morally and spiritually).

M within this week has received offers for two excellent Canadian universities(Victoria and UBC). I must say, it is even better than I even dreamt off. This makes us proud but with the due realization that your efforts have been a crucial contribution and played a big role. Thanks so much and I hope it gives you even more confidence to inspire the best in your students and endeavors.
